Getting started
PLEDGE is in pre-launch. The app at /app already shows the real screens; the buttons that send transactions read "Opens at launch" until the program is live on mainnet.
Back a campaign
- Open /app and pick a campaign. Each one shows its goal, how much is raised, the deadline, the bonus rate and how much early room is left.
- Enter an amount in the campaign's currency (USDC or SOL). The app shows both outcomes before you sign: what the work gets if the goal is met, and what you get back if it is missed.
- If you pledge in the first half and there is early room left, your bonus is fixed in the same transaction. The app passes the early amount you saw as
min_eligible, so the pledge fails rather than landing without the bonus it showed you. - Wait. Your pledge stays in the vault until the deadline; there is no withdrawal.
- After the deadline anyone can settle and pay out. If the goal was missed, your refund plus bonus arrives in your own token account.
Start a campaign
- Choose USDC or SOL, the goal, the length (1 to 90 days) and the bonus rate (1% to 50%; the lab used 20%).
- Choose the deposit. It decides how much early pledging earns the bonus:
deposit / rate. A 1,000 USDC deposit at 20% covers 5,000 USDC of early pledges. It must not cover more than the goal. - Sign. The deposit moves into the campaign's vault in the same transaction.
- If the goal is met you receive everything raised minus the 2% fee, plus your whole deposit. If it is missed you get back the part of the deposit no backer earned.
- To raise fee-free, lock the waiver amount of PLEDGE in the campaign before the deadline; it comes back after settlement.
What to fund
Campaigns raise money for real work: an open-source feature, a bounty, an event, a shared tool. A campaign never sells or hands out a token.
